Daily Peach was started in Cape Town in 2013.
The first iteration, called Peaches Apparel, was aimed at the equestrian community. A passion project that was an outlet for creativity and discovery. Fly Veils, Numnahs and Stirrup Covers were stitched and sewn together.
Now we are a team, committed to creating income opportunities for women in our community. Our goal is to reduce waste in the cosmetics sector and teach creative skills to those seeking employment. What makes us excited are the little things, especially those that make a big difference to our environment. Impacting far more than those in the immediate vicinity. We are reducing plastic use, while fostering an atmosphere of sustainability and togetherness.
THE SPEKBOOM PROJECT
As part of our efforts to reduce our carbon emissions we’ve committed to planting a Spekboom for each order placed. This initiative forms part of larger efforts to reduce waste and be carbon negative
Meter for meter Spekboom is ten times more effective than the Amazon rainforest at removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. This makes it a powerful tool in the fight against climate change and the move towards a zero-carbon world.
